Webinar: Is inflation stalling the green momentum in FMCG?

The world’s most environmentally conscious households – Eco Actives – have declined in number for the first time, based on the findings from the fourth edition of our global Who Cares, Who Does? report. In this webinar we’ll investigate the factors driving this trend – including inflation – and explore the areas where we still see growth for FMCG brands and manufacturers.

Our host will be Natalie Babbage, LinkQ Solution Director and Sustainability expert at Kantar’s Worldpanel Division. She will present the results of this unique study, which focuses on the FMCG sector and connects claimed product and attitude data to real purchasing trends from our purchase panels to provide an accurate picture of consumer behaviour. Our action-based Eco segmentation, meanwhile, helps us to identify and profile the people who are going to be most receptive to your eco strategy.

You will be inspired by case studies of real brands in the market that are expanding the sustainable product space, and gain clarity on some of the areas which are moving more slowly, and the practical barriers blocking further growth.

By the end of the session you’ll have learned:

  • How economic uncertainty is impacting people’s sustainable behaviour
  • What has been driving the areas of positive change
  • Which sustainable trends and brands are emerging and which are slowing in momentum
  • Case studies of how brands are winning with their sustainability strategy
